When Hurricane Ike makes landfall this weekend somewhere along Texas’ Gulf coast, the major news networks will be there waiting, TVNewser reports. CNN has deployed 70 anchors, correspondents, producers and other personnel to the coastline. On-air talent sent to the region includes Anderson Cooper, Rick Sanchez and Rob Marciano. Fox News Channel will have Geraldo Rivera in Galveston, while MSNBC’s contingent includes Amy Rohrbach. ABC’s “Good Morning America” weatherman Sam Champion also will be making the trip to Texas.
