Officials Anticipate Digital Transition Glitches

Sep 23, 2008  •  Post A Comment

Even if everything goes as planned, federal officials are preparing for a deluge of problems and viewer complaints come February during the nation’s switch to digital broadcasting, the Associated Press reports. Most are looking at the already-digital city of Wilmington, N.C., to learn what to expect. Questions regarding technical problems are likely to flood the Federal Communications Commission following the transition. Problems in Wilmington included inability to view more than one station and the reception of station feeds from neighboring markets.
