The sale of the Weather Channel is complete, Broadcasting & Cable reports. Landmark Communications announced Friday its sale of the network to NBC Universal and two private-equity groups was a near-$3.5 billion transaction. The Weather Channel’s assets include the popular Weather.com Web site, Weather Services International, Enterprise Electronics and Pelmorex, a Canadian weather outfit.
