Atlanta Braves pitcher John Smoltz is joining TBS’s roster of on-air personalities for the network’s Major League Baseball playoffs coverage, USAToday reports. Although he is considering broadcasting after he retires from the sport, the 41-year-old Smoltz says he will “treat it like I’m doing an interview” and not use the gig as an audition opportunity for a future career, the newspaper says.
