After the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas issued TiVo a setback in its patent lawsuit against satellite provider Dish Network Thursday, shares of the digital video recorder company’s fell 16.5%, PaidContent reports. Investors appeared concerned after a federal judge declined to rule on TiVo’s request to hold Dish Network in contempt for allegedly not following a judge’s instructions in a previous court ruling, the publication says.
