TNT has ordered a script for a spinoff inspired by its hit original series “The Closer,” the Hollywood Reporter says. The network confirmed the order but has yet to reveal any details, including which character from the Kyra Sedgwick-starring series the new show would feature. “Closer” creator and executive producer James Duff is writing the story along with co-executive producers Adam Belanoff and Michael Berchem, according to the Reporter.
