Wall Street’s financial problems are spilling over to NBC’s local affiliates, says Jeff Zucker. Reuters is reporting the NBC Universal CEO told a conference in London on Friday that the financial crisis has “had a profound effect on our local TV stations, which were highly dependent on auto and retail advertising.” The company has not seen an advertising dive at a national level, he said.
