Cable Gets 20% of Election Spend

Cable television networks received as much as 20% of presidential election advertising dollars, slightly more than what they received from congressional races, Multichannel News says, citing ad seller National Cable Communications. Political advertising spending will peak at about $3 billion, with about $500 million received outside of broadcast television.
