Can Fox News Cash in Post-Election?

After a spending spree to lock up talent, Fox News Channel appears to be betting it will be able to hold onto a good chunk of the audience and advertising that this election cycle has whippped up, the New York Times says. While there may be some shrinkage in overall ad spending, Fox News recently signed a series of deals bringing in more money from cable operators to help pay for Bill O’Reilly and Co. And while conservatives and Republicans may lose on election day, “the Fox style of aggressive commentary works best in opposition,” one analyst says.
