Oct 16, 2008  •  Post A Comment

CNN one-ups Fox News Channel’s voter fraud watch e-mail address with its unveiling of a new Hotline telephone number, TVNewser reports. Voters can call (877) GOCNN08, which is open now, should any problems or questions arise. CNN’s Ali Velshi will report on voting irregularities across the country leading up to the election, TVNewser says.

  1. Thank You CNN, you really are the most trusted name in news.

  2. What I saw yesterday Oct. 21st 2008 on Loo Dobbs about the old man who wanted to vote for Obama but realized that because he touched the black line he find himself voting for Mc Cain. It seems that the republicans are involved in the fabrication of those voting machines. This should be investigated right away and the voting process in that state stopped. This morning oct. 22, they were showing other voting machines, very accessible, with a key easily changed and the machine easily reprogrammed I find it unacceptable in a country like the United States that you don’t have one single safe voting system. Election after election, you encounter problems like that. The republicans are mostly christians and christians are supposed to be honest people, according to Jésus teachings and when I look at Mc Cain and Palin, all I see the most hypocrite persons who don’t hesitate to lie in order to win the elections.

  3. My comment is with regard to voting machines.
Why can’t the voting machine keys have adequate spacing between the keys so the elderly and others might be less likely inadvertently press the wrong key.
To me this seems like an obvious fix. It’s not like a personal cell phone where the manufacturer is trying to limit the size of the device.
    Thank you.

  4. Well the phone number is useless to me, as the prompts do not apply to my issue. Here’s the issue: I received 2 pieces of mail addressed to a person at a property I have owned for 30 years. It has been unrented for 15 years. The mail was addresses to POSNAY POSNAY, (address withheld) New Port (incorrect spelling) R.I. 02840
The mail was this person’s voter registration card from Ft. Lauderdale FL. It was from Dr. Brenda C. Snipes Supervisor of Elections Broward County Government Center 115 South Andrews Avenue, Room 102 Ft. Lauderdale FL 33301-1896 I have never heard of the addressee, and feel this is a very “odd” error. I noticed that POSNAY was a recently registered voter. I put all the mail in an envelope and mailed it to his address in Ft. Lauderdale. I wonder how many other recently registered people have not received their registration cards because they have been mailed to some address pulled out of another state’s phone book. Worth a look.

  5. I voted absentee ballet in Virginia.
It seem strange to me that I was told to use a number two pencil to fill out the ballet.
I don’t trust the system enough to believe that no one will abuse this loophole.
I know that black ink can be read by scanners,
    because police dept. use them.

  6. My father, in Nevada, voted early at a local supermarket..he then received in the mail the absentee ballot he previously requested. Therefore, two votes are registered in his name. I have two questions: will both votes be counted? Also, why was his name available as a legitimate voter if he had already requested an absentee ballot? My fear is that Nevada is a swing state and irregularities in voting could cause another “Florida.”

  7. When voting electronically in Illinois.
The string on the pen only reached up to McCain. Obama was at the top of the ticket where the pen does not reach!

  8. Love the blog here. Nice colors. I am definitely staying tuned to this one. Hope to see more.

  9. You make blogging look like a walk in the park! I’ve been trying to blog daily but I just cant find writing material.. you’re an inspiration to me and i’m sure many others!
