Comcast announced new higher-speed Internet services that will provide residential customers with downloads as fast as 50 megabytes per second, CNET says. The new “extreme” package costs $139.95 a month and its “ultra” service—at 22 mbps– is $62.95 a month. These subscribers will still be subject to Comcast’s monthly 250 gigabyte limit, CNET says.
