Fox’s ‘Friends’ Dominates Mornings

The Los Angeles Times visited the set of morning phenomenon “Fox & Friends,” Fox News Channel’s morning news show, and reports the program regularly trounces CNN’s and MSNBC’s morning offerings as well as CBS’ “The Early Show” in 16 major markets including Los Angeles, where it airs from 3-6 a.m. The paper attributes this to the show’s roll-with-the-punches, freewheeling nature compared with other morning news broadcasts. “Here you have an ability to do stuff, and then they can always rein you in,” co-host Brian Kilmeade tells the Times. “But I know I’m not going to get reprimanded.”
