FX has acquired the network rights for three 20th Century Fox films, including “Max Payne,” “The X-Files: I Want to Believe” and “The Rocker,” the Hollywood Reporter says. According the unnamed sources familiar with the deal, each film will have a four-year license term with FX beginning in late 2010 and early 2011, with a potential window for Twentieth TV to distribute the films to broadcast networks, the trade paper says. The deal is estimated at $8 million for the three films based on the standard percentage of domestic box office.
