HGTV and carpet cleaner Stanley Steemer are putting a co-branded promotion, letting viewers of HGTV’s Web site upload pictures of their ugliest rooms while getting carpet-cleaning tips, Advertising Week reports. Stanley Steemer, which spent $45 million on advertising through the end of August, is giving away a $15,000 grand prize as part of the HGTV promotion, Ad Week says.
