News was actually broken on the set of CNN’s “D.L. Hughley Breaks the News” during a taped interview between Scott McClellan, former White House Press Secretary for George W. Bush, and host D.L. Hughley, TVNewser reports. McClellan endorsed Democratic candidate Sen. Barack Obama after Hughley urged him to “endorse somebody, damn it” during taping of the show’s first episode, which airs Saturday. About the endorsement, McClellan said, “From the very beginning I have said I am going to support the candidate that has the best chance for changing the way Washington works and getting things done. And I will be voting for Barack Obama.”
