Crime scene investigator Kimberlee Heale serves as a consultant on Showtime’s “Dexter.” In a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times, Heale says the show adheres to some of the common practices in crime investigation, such as using paper or plastic to hold evidence. However, sometimes for the sake of making good TV, some things are not always “accurate,” such as the use of Dexter’s not wearing a particle mask while observing evidence, the newspaper says.
