Fast-food chain Sonic has upped its advertising spending to $200 million for the next fiscal year, MediaPost reports. Half of that should be going to national cable advertising for the fast-growing chain. The new figure is a 5% increase from the past year, but up 67% since 2005. “We are well on our way to becoming a truly national brand,” said Sonic president Scott McClain.
