Starz has given the greenlight to a new series based on “Spartacus” with executive producers Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert and Joshua Donen, the Hollywood Reporter says. The network has given the project a 13-episode order. “Spartacus” is the second original drama series from Starz, following the recent “Crash” TV adaptation, the trade paper says. The show is due to debut next summer.
