StumbleUpon Takes Out Sign-Up Hurdle

Oct 1, 2008  •  Post A Comment

Social video Web site StumbleUpon is partnering with Web publishers National Geographic, Rolling Stone, HowStuffWorks and the Huffington Post, MediaPost reports. The new partnership will allow users to explore the site’s content without having to sign up. The goal is to get users to sample StumbleUpon so that more will sign up for the service. StumbleUpon users indicated their interests across hundreds of categories including food, politics and music and, through a downloaded application, can click a button to “stumble upon” videos associated with their categories of choice.
