ESPN, the No. 1 sports cable channel, must face a suit by the Quicksilver Inc. clothing company that a logo for the network’s international X Games competition violates a trademark, Bloomberg News reports. Quicksilver, which sued in June, established enough of a case that the suit can go forward, the court said. ESPN had counter sued, saying Quicksilver’s X logo could cause consumer confusion.
