Courtney Holt, formerly executive VP of digital music for MTV Networks, has been named president of MySpace Music, says Reuters. MySpace Music is a joint venture between parent company News Corp. and the four major record companies to provide exclusive content to artists’ pages on the social networking site. The wire service reports that Holt will serve as a liaison between MySpace management and the management of the record companies.
