MSNBC Adds 7-Second Delay

Nov 12, 2008  •  Post A Comment

The next time MSNBC host Joe Scarborough drops an F-bomb on his morning show, the network will be able to defuse it after building a seven-second delay into the live program’s production, the Associated Press reports. Other MSNBC shows won’t have the delay, according to a network spokesman, who says network brass and Scarborough “mutually” wanted the delay added to his show.

  1. I’m actually shocked that a live show isn’t delayed. If the mics are on, yes, there should be a delay. No, not an HD delay either. That’s just common sense. Knowing that “pranksters” from a certain show have called in and got on the air of various news stations. They Should have learned from that.
Apparently, Toledo, Ohio isn’t the only St. Olaf, in real life. Nice to see that!
