Online Advertising Immune to Budget Cuts

With advertising budgets being slashed left and right, online and digital media marketing remains the most resistant to reduced spending expectations, MediaPost reports. A survey by Advertiser Perceptions showed more than two-thirds of the 1,000-plus ad executives interviewed expected to increase online ad budgets over the next six months, which is stronger than the expectations for other major media. Fifty-one percent of the executives planned to boost their mobile advertising budgets over six months.
