An estimated 7 million U.S. households are still completely unprepared for February’s DTV analog shutoff, Broadcasting & Cable reports, citing Nielsen data. That number, amounting to about 6.8% of U.S. households, represents those that still receive TV signals over an antenna but have still not made any preparation for the digital switch and do not have a digital TV, the trade says. The Albuquerque-Santa Fe market tops the list as the most unprepared in the U.S., with 13% of households not ready for DTV, B&C says.
