The Connecticut Broadcasters Association said 1,706 TV viewers called a toll-free hotline after CBA’s DTV tests on Dec. 3, Broadcasting & Cable reports. About 84% of the calls received from the tests, held twice during the day, were from viewers receiving analog over-the-air signals and 60% of them requested a DTV converter box coupon, the trade says. More than 115 stations participated in the test, B&C says.
