Saturday night’s pay-per-view fight between Oscar De La Hoya and Manny Pacquiao drew 1.25 million purchases and $70 million in PPV revenue for HBO Sports, Broadcasting & Cable reports. The event, in which Pacquiao defeated De La Hoya, was the biggest PPV event of the year, becoming just the fourth non-heavyweight boxing event to reach 1 million buys, the trade says.
