Josh Howard, VP of long-form for CNBC, announced that he will leave the cable network when his contract expires next week, Broadcasting & Cable reports. The announcement comes just one day after the unit that has been overseen by Howard received its third Emmy, awarded to the newsmagazine “Business Nation” at Tuesday’s sixth annual Business and Financial News Emmys. The show was canceled last summer, and the long-form unit, formed three years ago, has been downsized from 25 staff members to about 12, the magazine reports.
