Barry Melrose, fired as coach of the Tampa Bay Lightning last month, is returning to ESPN as a hockey analyst, the Associated Press reports. Melrose had worked full-time at ESPN since 1996 before joining the Lightning in June. He lasted 16 games behind the bench.
