Most Cable Programming Is Original

About two-thirds of the programming on U.S. cable networks is original, Broadcasting & Cable reports, citing Cabletelevision Advertising Bureau Chief Executive Officer Sean Cunningham. With the average American watching 33 hours of television a week, programmers are investing about $20 billion to produce such programming, B&C says, citing Cunningham.
