KTVX Channel 4 news personalities Terry Wood and wife Susan have been let go from their station, the Salt Lake Tribune reports. Terry Wood was fired shortly before he was scheduled to anchor a newscast, after serving the Salt Lake City market since 1971, the newspaper says. Susan Wood has been a reporter and co-anchor at KTVX and KUTV, the newspaper adds. KTVX has faced difficult times with personnel matters and struggling 10 p.m. news ratings, the SLT says.

I can not believe you would let such good reporters go! I only watch your news to watch them because they have personalities, unlike some reporters who are stiff and can’t crack a joke. And what a horrible time of the year to drop this on them. And to not even tell them why.

The absolute disgusting thing about the way KTVX fired Terry and Susan, was one week before Christmas. Have they no shame?? Terry, Susan, Randall and Barb, you have done Utah proud and my very best wishes to all of you. KTVX has lost another viewer, as there are thousands out there who feels the same.
