New House Telecommunications & Internet Subcommittee chairman Rick Boucher, D-Va., has not yet endorsed any of the proposed solutions for the problems facing next month’s DTV switch, Broadcasting & Cable reports. Many of the solutions proposed are related to alleviating the backlog of orders for the $40 government-issued vouchers for consumers, the trade says. Boucher has not endorsed President-elect Barack Obama’s suggestion to postpone the switch either, B&C says.
