Jan 9, 2009  •  Post A Comment

More broadcast networks have expressed their support for a DTV switch delay as requested by Barack Obama’s transition team, Broadcasting & Cable reports. Word of ABC’s support for the delay surfaced yesterday. Now Fox is backing “any efforts to ensure that the transition to digital television is a success,” while NBC calls the suggestion “prudent and well-considered,” says the trade. CBS also is “open to the suggestion” to help facilitate the switch, B&C says.
