HBO is developing a drama set in the world of horse-breeders and hired
“Dexter” writer James Manos to executive produce and write the pilot, the
Hollywood Reporter says. The project was brought to HBO by independent production firm Half Shell Entertainment, which is working on two other projects: one based on Warren St. John’s non-fiction football book “Rammer Jammer Yellow Hammer” and the other based on financial columns by New Yorker writer James Surowiecki.
