Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D.-Minn., said she expects the bill to delay the transition to digital television will pass in the House next week and will be quickly signed by the president, Multichannel News reports. In an interview on C-SPAN, Klobuchar pointed out that her state has among the highest rate of analog-only TV viewing, with more than 20% in Minneapolis-St. Paul watching over the air, the publication says.
