Companies including CBS, Microsoft and Hulu.com are working together to test new video-ad formats with the goal of drawing more spending, the Wall Street Journal reports. The project comes from Publicis Groupe’s Starcom MediaVest, which is trying to create a standard for the technology and keep advertisers spending on the format, the newspaper says.
