TiVo’s Tom Rogers Warns of Bleaker Ad Future

TiVo CEO Tom Rogers warned attendees at this year’s NATPE conference that television advertising will face a more “severe” crisis within the next two to three years, Daily Variety reports. According to Rogers, Hollywood and advertisers need to find a way to readjust their models in order to “harness [the] growing potential” of TiVo and other DVR services rather than consider them the enemy, the trade says.
