Yahoo’s CEO Pick Unknown to Media, Ad Firms

Yahoo’s choice for a new chief executive, Autodesk CEO Carol Bartz, doesn’t have a media or advertising background, and that doesn’t worry her, Advertising Age says. She plans to start talking to Yahoo customers today, which is a good move because she’s relatively unknown in the media and advertising world.
