ABC Family Values?

With its hit “The Secret Life of the American Teenager” dealing with the sex lives of high school students, some parents are wondering if cable network ABC Family has the kind of family value parent company Walt Disney usually stands for, the Los Angeles Times reports. “It’s kind of a misnomer to call ABC Family a family channel,” said Michele MacNeal, head of a California branch of the Parents Television Council, tells the paper. “When you call something ‘family,’ it gives the impression that it’s safe for all members of the family, even young children.”
