Charles Barkley pleaded guilty to charges of driving drunk and will serve jail time, the Associated Press reports. Barkley, who works as a TV analyst for TNT, will begin a five-day jail term on March 21, the news agency reports.

It’s so refreshing to have a celebrity type person admit a mistake and take the punishment. I didn’t like Barkley when he played for Auburn (Alabama graduate), but he has grown into to someone truly worthy of being a role model.
