Bloomberg LP, ending a long-term streak of no job cuts, laid off 60 people in its money-losing television and radio unit, the New York Post reports. The company canceled its “Night Talk” television show hosted by Mike Schneider, and more cuts are expected to be announced Wednesday by the company’s CEO of multimedia operations, Andy Lack, with cuts evenly spread between TV and radio, which are losing an estimated $20 million annually, the paper says.

  1. Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.
