Anheuser-Busch InBev’s U.S. chief creative officer Bob Lachky is leaving the company, the Wall Street Journal reports. Lachky was the main advertising executive behind some of Budweiser’s most recognizable ad campaigns, including the “Whassup” spots and commercials featuring party dog Spuds MacKenzie, the newspaper says. Lachky said his move has nothing to do with InBev’s recent purchase of the company and that he has “chosen to move on and explore new challenges,” according to the Wall Street Journal.
