California will earmark $100 million a year worth of tax breaks to television and movie producers who film at least three-quarters of their content within the state, Web site DeadlineHollywoodDaily.com reports, citing the California Film Commission. The program will be funded for five years starting in July, though the tax credits can’t be applied until 2011, the Web site says.
