FX Taps Two Dramas

Feb 11, 2009  •  Post A Comment

FX picked up two drama pilots, “Lights Out” and a drama written by Graham Yost based on the Elmore Leonard short story “Fire in the Hole,” the Hollywood Reporter says. The pilots would be the first FX has ordered since “Sons of Anarchy” in October 2007. “Lights Out,” written by “The Bucket List” scribe Justin Zackham and Phillip Noyce, tracks an aging former boxing champ diagnosed with pugilistic dementia who takes a job as a debt-collection enforcer, while the Yost project focuses on a soft-spoken U.S. marshal, the trade paper says.

  1. Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
