While the Dow Jones has dropped 16% this year following a loss of one-third in 2008, entertainment stocks are faring better, with the Hollywood Reporter Showbiz 50 down 7.5% in 2009, the Hollywood Reporter says. Some of the stocks in the Hollywood Reporter Showbiz index have gained, such as a 23% jump for Netflix, the trade paper says.
