Major League Baseball and the National Football League may have protected themselves from a possible bankruptcy of Sirius XM Satellite Radio by arranging to have future payments placed in an escrow account, the New York Times says. Sirius has put away $85 million to pay off the NFL and $120 million for baseball, the paper says.
