Litton Syndications is looking at the openings created by MyNetworkTV’s decision to become a programming service next fall and return of Saturday nights to its affiliates, Broadcasting & Cable reports. MyNetworkTV’s announcement “has opened up whole new conversations for us,” Litton executive VP Tom Warner tells the trade paper. Litton also said its hourlong weekly entertainment show “The Brian McKnight Show” will be a firm go for fall 2009, B&C says.
