U.S. mobile advertising sales will surge almost twentyfold between 2008 and 2013, or about 81% a year, to about $3.1 billion, while mobile local search-advertising sales will jump sixtyfold to $1.3 billion, TVNewsday reports, citing BIA Advisory Services unit Kelsey Group. About a quarter of U.S. Web users are mobile Internet users. Mobile searches will get progressively more local over the next three years, TVNewser says.
