NCTA, Comcast Say No to License Revamp

The National Cable & Telecommunications Association and Comcast are arguing against Congress making major changes to cable’s compulsory license, Broadcasting & Cable reports. NCTA President Kyle McSlarrow, according to prepared testimony, will say today that he doesn’t want lawmakers to rewrite what he calls a “great public-policy success story,” the trade paper says.
