Christina Wayne has left her position as senior VP for scripted series and miniseries at AMC, the Televisionary blog reports, citing unnamed sources at the network. In a statement sent to TVWeek, AMC confirmed the departure. Wayne joined the network in 2005 and helped develop its critically acclaimed original series “Mad Men” and “Breaking Bad,” the site says. No word yet on what prompted her departure, effective immediately, or where she plans to go, Televisionary adds.
