Television advertisements may be more effective at boosting sales and brand awareness than they’ve ever been, as busier people use time in front of the TV to relax and escape their everyday lives, Advertising Week reports, citing a survey by the Advertising Research Foundation. For the three years ended 2007, advertising dollars were progressively more effective at getting the attention of potential customers, the magazine says.
